About the band ...

Detroit’s Rock and Roll Madmen, The Loose Stools, have completed their latest CD “Served Up Hot”. This 13-song assemblage features crowd-pleasing favorites as Social Disease, Gina Call the Cops, and Beer Junkie. The Loose Stools have reached deep into their gullets to craft this collection of tunes built around straight-ahead guitar, punching bass, battering drums, and twisted lyrics ripped through brute-strength vocals. This release follows “The Radio Friendly Hits of the Loose Stools” released in 1997 which contained such hits as The Homecoming Torture Queen and Cactus Dick.

With lyrics that take you on a journey through perversion, excess, and drunken debauchery, listening to The Loose Stools makes you feel as though you’ve entered the mind of a madman. The songs are well written and produced with solid rhythms behind vocals that roar as though they were belched from the belly of a demon. The Loose Stools live shows take the music to the next level with stage antics and props guaranteed to raise an eyebrow on the most cynical spectators.

The Loose Stools came together in early 1992 in Rochester, MI near Detroit and have been exciting crowds ever since playing venues in Michigan and Ohio.   Since then, the band’s strong following has spread the word and garnered them attention from as far away as Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Europe.  Their latest release promises to keep their momentum alive.
